Epson printer rejects these cartridges
I have an Epson CX9400Fax and tried to save some money with these knockoffs. Aside from the initial warning message about them not being genuine, the printer has systematically rejected the cartridges after a while. Telling me to replace a cartridge because it is not recognized -- and the cartridges still have plenty of ink in them. Was a waste of money for me.

if u own a cx5000 don't bother
these didn't work with my new cx5000 at all and I had to send them back. The ink levels show up as very low even on the new cartridges when installed and even after cleaning and head alignment they failed to work. I know others have had good luck with them but my printer said no vay! Also epson claims that this kind of compatible ink can damage their printers so use @ your own risk according to them.

why pay more?
have been using these for over a year for general printing - never a problem, even on DVD/CDs
have not used them for photo quality (use an Epson 2200 for that) so can't comment on use with photo paper
