Easy and functional.
We purchased the microscope as a single birthday gift versus many little toys and my seven year old, inquisitive daughter not only learn how to use it quickly, she started hunting around for any sort of material; vegetable, insect, spore, the list goes on. How does it work was her next question, you can go in to the details with that...
It is simple to operate, contains the essential, and lenses and mechanic is of good quality. I recommend this product from an early age: if used with care, with some supervision and after-care can last to biology -student level; and you'll have a lot of fun hours and togetherness ahead of you!
The user manual is simple and does not include "how to"; and there are no slides included; but you can find all that easily around.
Great specs.
This scope has nearly the identical specifications to the one I bought for medical school 20 years ago. The optics are just wonderful. What amuses me is the fact that this scope costs 1/4 of what we all paid back then! For the high school, college or med student (not for anatomy though), this should do the trick nicely. For the anatomist, anatomy scopes should be available in the dissecting lab for that purpose.
