Best one I have owned and that is saying something...
I have gone through around 9 humidifiers over the last year, honestly. I have used all types and this one is by far the best...that is not saying a lot but it is a good machine. I currently have 2 of these and while some people think it is very hard to fill I have found that it contours with my master soaker tub perfectly so it is very easy to fill. Make sure that you tighten the cap well and you should not have any problems.
We did have to return the first one. It appeared that the tank had a crack in it and when we filled the tank it leaked all over our carpet. Not a big deal because I kept checking it just to be safe but if you had wood floors it could be a bigger issue.
With both on we are able to add enough humidity to our roughly 750 square foot master bedroom. It does not give you that old fashioned rainforest feel but it does a very nice job and when you have 2% humidity normally the added 20+ is very very noticeable.
FYI: there is a mineral cartridge that comes with it however you do not need to use it if you do not want to. All you will have to do is clean it a little more. I clean it about once a week maybe every other week.

Pleased with Honeywell Quietcare Ultrasonic Mini Tower Humidifier
I'm pleased with my Honeywell humidifier. It fits on top of my small dresser. It's quiet, not completely silent. That's fine with me though. A huge bonus is the absence of white residue all over everything in the room like most humidifiers create. That was a real selling point for me. The price was right too. I would highly reccomend this humidifier.

Looks cool! Kids will love it! You'll hate it.
You can't fill the tank without holding it because the top is slanted. If you over-fill it, the water will run down from the fill opening between the inner blue tank and the white outer housing dripping all the way back to the base which will actually catch and use the excess water once you have the tank seated.

The mineral filter does NOT stop the white dust from covering everything. You may not notice until it's too late to return the unit. Look at a glass TV screen or lay a a CD or DVD mirror side up in the room and it will have crud on it in 24 hours. Our water hardness here is fairly low (120 ppm). The only solution is to purchase DISTILLED water. Forget it.

Kids will like the cool blue Alien look of the unit which will double as a great night light. Be warned adults, it cannot be turned off if you want to use it!

Thanks for the sticky label on the top of the unit. It is of the inconsiderate type that shreds when you try to remove it. My friendly label removing solution smeared the plastic on the top of the tank as I tried to remove the remnants.

The good news is that the generation of mist is silent. You will only hear water gulps.

Works well, hard t o refill
As another person mentioned, there's no easy way to refill this. It has to be flipped upside down while filling, but the top is sloped so you can't set it down - requiring you to hold it the hole time.

Other than that, it provides a lot of moisture and is extremely quiet. Personally, I like the blue light.

It is goof for office use but not for bedroom.
The water goggles and it bothers me when I try to fall asleep. Otherwise it is quiet. There was another review on it says this too. Now that reivew is gone. Wondering why.
